Wetlands

Today we had a visit from Megan, Ben and Matt who are from Cape to City.  They talked to us about biodiversity and how animals and plants adapt to live in the Wetlands.  hey taught us that endemic plants or plants which can only be found in New Zealand (like the long fin eel).  Here are some photos of our wonderful learning today...

  1. Kia ora Room 4! Ben, Matt and I had a great time with you last week.
You had lots of good questions which showed you were doing lots of clever thinking. I love how you have used an important word like 'endemic' on your blog. I am off to feed the tuna in my local stream tonight. I wonder if I'll be able to tell if they are short or long fins! Good luck with your inquiry. Megan
